Payments

When you register for a dance class (Aug - May) at Studio Chassé, you are making a semester-long commitment (Aug - Nov or Jan - Apr) requiring 25% your first tuition installment to be paid at the time of online enrollment (which secures your spot in the class) and the 3 remaining tuition installments to be paid on the 1st of each month. Tuition is the same each installment, regardless of how many classes fall in that month or your number of absences.

When you register for our summer session, you are making a commitment to a 4-day camp or weekly class, requiring 20% of your tuition for the camp to be paid at the time of registration (which secures your spot in the camp) and the remaining 80% of tuition to be paid through auto-pay on the first day of camp/class.

Our dance year (Aug - May) consists of two semesters, a possible winter showcase (if a venue is available), and a spring showcase. Showcase tuition is only charged if a dancer registers for the showcase through our online portal by October 1 (fall/winter) and February 15 (winter/spring). At the time of showcase registration, a costume deposit is due.

Studio Chassé uses auto-pay through Studio Pro to collect tuition. A checking account or credit/debit card is required at the time of registration and families must enroll in auto-pay. Cash and checks are NOT accepted for tuition installments.

No financial information is stored within Studio Pro. This includes credit card numbers or bank accounts. Studio Pro sends electronic requests to the merchant processor to charge a customer's account without having to specify the financial details. This protects both Studio Chassé and our families.

Winter/Spring Tuition - January 12 - April 10, 2026

Tuition for our winter-spring 2026 semester at Studio Chassé is auto-paid in 4 installments (the first being at online enrollment) and the remaining installments on Jan 1, Feb 1, and Mar 1. Tuition is the same each installment, regardless of how many classes fall in that month or your number of absences.

Spring Showcase Rehearsal Tuition: Apr 13 - May 17, 2026

Our spring showcase rehearsal tuition is auto-paid in 2 installments on Apr 1 and May 1. Rehearsal tuition is for the classes/rehearsals prepping for the showcase.

Spring Showcase Costume Deposit

Returned/Declined Payment Fee

All monthly payment declines/returns will incur a non-refundable $16 per return/decline fee. This fee is charged to an account when a processed payment is returned or declined. The returned/declined amount plus your monthly installment must be paid within 3 business day in order for the dancer to continue enrollment. If tuition is not received, the dancer will be withdrawn from all classes and the next person on the waiting list will take their place.

Budding Artist costume deposits are $50 and Youth-Advanced costumes are $55 (unless otherwise noted). Costume deposits are due by February 15th and are paid through the portal when enrolling online for the showcase

Transfer Classes

All changes to enrollment, after the initial enrollment in our studio portal, must be made by the director. Enrolling in classes at Studio Chassé is a semester-long commitment and no refunds will be given.

Withdrawal Policy

Non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal.

For the summer session, a written notice of withdrawal via email (and a printed receipt of the director's confirmation) is required 5 days before the start of the camp remove a child from a camp/dance intensive. Tuition charges will cease 5 days after the written notice of withdrawal is received, printed and filed. Refunds will not be given for any installments or payments made before the date of the written-notice.

For the fall/winter and winter/spring semester, a written notice of withdrawal via email (and a printed receipt of the director's confirmation) is required by the 25th of the month to stop charges on the first day of the following month. Tuition charges will cease 5 days after the written notice of withdrawal is received, printed and filed. Refunds will not be given for any installments or payments made before the date of the written-notice. For example, if written notice is received and confirmed by February 25th, the family will not be charged on March 1st.

Payment Policies

Your non-refundable first installment of tuition is due at the time of online enrollment for each semester and the summer session.
A checking account or credit/debit card is required at the time of registration and families must enroll in auto-pay.
Studio Chassé uses auto-pay that automatically drafts from your checking account or credit card on file.
No cash or checks are accepted for tuition.
Your first month's tuition is paid at the time of enrollment and the remaining balance is paid in installments on the first of the month.
All changes to class enrollment must be requested in writing by the end of the semester add/drop period.
All changes to enrollment, after the initial enrollment on our studio portal, must be made by the director.
Tuition is not prorated or refunded for absences, vacation, or illness/injury.
Tuition is prorated for class cancellation without a make-up option.
